So. Heath Ledger has died. I’m not going to do a tribute. I’m not going to add to the speculatation behind the death.
Person has died, it’s sad, end of story.
However, I am slightly worried about those on Wikipedia. Heath was found dead in New York at 3:26pm (8:26pm UK time). Bearing in mind that it takes a couple of hours for this story to break to the news why, at 10pm when I heard the news was it already on Wikipedia.
Do people aim to be the first to make the change? In this case RonBurgundy was the first to enter his death at 9:50. Did he think, ‘ oh, you know what, that means I’m going to have to update that profile… blummin’ deaths, creatin’ work’.
It just seems a bit odd on that one.
